They are suitable for surfacing fl at and curved objects
such as heat exchanger plates or pressure vessels of
different kinds. Submerged arc welding (SAW) is the
most frequently - used process, but if higher productiv
ity and restricted dilution rates are required, electroslag
welding (ESW) is used. These strips are finding increasing
use in petroleum industry in hydrocracking, hydrosulphurisation
and catalytic refi ning processes and in
the chemical and petrochemical industries. |
