Stoody® 20-30 Bulk Borium
Bulk Borium is a loose tungsten carbide particle product resulting from crushing and sizing of cast eutectic tungsten carbide (2200-2600 HV). These bulk particles are meant to be dropped in GMAW/FCAW weld pool using the Stoody MIG Carbide System, a dedicated vibratory feeder (PN 123-00-001). The drop carbide technique provides coarse abrasion resistance as well as some cutting and gripping action. The following Stoody hardfacing wires are frequently used with bulk drop carbide applications: Stoody 964-G, Stoody 965-G and 965-0, Stoody 966-G. Typical applications include ground engaging tools, raise boring stabilizers, undercarriage track pads, recycling shredder hammers, armor plates.
