Stoody ThermaClad 455
ThermaClad 455 has better resistance to tempering when compared to conventional tool steels. The deposit provides good abrasion resistance and can be applied crack free. ThermaClad 455 has good resistance to thermal fatigue cracking (fire cracking). The combination of these properties makes this alloy ideal for pinch roll applications.
